This paper compares the "radial category" of image schemas derived for the polysemous word "over", by Brugman and Lakoff, 1987, with the lexical networks for "over" derived by the author, from Roget's International Thesaurus, 3rd Edition, and The Oxford English Dictionary, 2nd Edition.
